Corvetto – cheese factory from Sardinia
Caseificio Corvetto was founded in the 1930s by Virgilio Corvetto.
In the beginning, this dairy, which is situated in Villasimius, a tourist village, famous for its beautiful cost and its unspoilt nature, suplied the Sardinian market. It was only in the 1960s when Renato Corvetto took over from his father that the Company began to market its products on the main land of Italy. Since then, thanks to constant production improvements, the utilisation of new technologies and the development of new markets, the company has grown and today its products are appreciated through out Italy.
